MSD’s Success over the past 34 years is highly influenced by the support of our key stakeholders our employees and you our clients. Growth is often equated with progress and success through profitability statistics but for MSD Growth is seen through the eyes of our clients based on their satisfaction levels as we strongly believe in the ‘Service Profit Chain’ Model. As such, MSD is currently restructuring the organization to better serve you. Effective July 1st, 2018 The Quality Control Department will be merged with the Technical Support Department to form a Customer Advocacy Department.
The Customer Advocates professionals will represent clients’ interests in operational matters and generally manage customer experience to ensure MSD Brand promise for Customer Satisfaction, Software Excellence & Integrity. The Customer Advocates would therefore be the powerhouse resource internally and externally and will serve as a resident Emortelle expert by obtaining exceptional knowledge of Emortelle through development cycles. This department will be managed by Mrs. Yvette Bobb who was promoted to Manager, Customer Advocacy effective July 1st 2018.
This restructure is consistent with the recent Management and Leadership Team decision in January 2018 to reassign Ms. Vashti Paul- Khan as Manager, Marketing and Customer Experience to ensure customers are fully aware of the numerous products and advanced features available in Emortelle towards enhancing their effectiveness and user experience.
MSD will continue to change our organizational strategies to better serve you and enhance this significant relationship so that we can make a positive contribution to your organization’s long standing reputation
On April 1st 2018, Kern John, Quality Control Officer III, celebrated her 10th year of dedicated service to the organization.
MSD Brand Promise is Committed to Customer Satisfaction, Software Excellence & Integrity, through our dedicated employees. The service milestone symbolizes the time Ms. John has given to MSD to assist the organization in persuing this brand promise. In commemoration, MSD presented Ms. John with tokens of appreciation for her role in assisting the organization achieves excellence.
MSD therefore take pride in having a dedicated, hard working and loyal team. Our staff loyalty matrix depicts over 35% of the total work force disbursing committed, and loyal service to our customers for a period in excess of ten [10] years. This level of staff loyalty and commitment can be directly correlated with our overarching philosophy of People, Process and Technology [PPT], whereby we harness an operating environment where employees are treated as customers, and customers like employees.
We had the opportunity to meet with members of the Board of Directors, Committees, Management and Staff of credit unions in the region as well as key contributors to the movement.
We were able to showcase our Emortelle Application and our very relevant integrated IFRS 9 Risk Management module. We received a lot of interest in our application and will certainly follow up on the leads acquired.
There were some discussions with other Sponsors regarding partnering to provide certain services which MSD will advise on in the future.
The forum was also used to sensitise our customers on the upcoming Mobile App to be launched in November 2018, this indeed garnered a lot of nods and appreciation.
There were lots of giveaways with our Emortelle polos, bags, pens and even confectionery!!!
We took the opportunity to especially meet with our customers and present them with tokens; customers were apprised of the latest features and some opted to stay an extra day to visit us at MSD.
We do look forward to next year's convention.
The workshop was geared towards Credit Unions and Lending Agencies to apprise them on Credit Management techniques, analysis and strategies straight through to Delinquency Management.
As such, the natural order was to include a presentation on Loan Provisioning based on the new IFRS 9 Standard.
As MSD already possessed an integrated module for this in our Emortelle application; we were invited to present and was able to demonstrate the ease of risk assessment, ECL calculations and posting of provision straight through to the General Ledger.
The module was appreciated by all present and even non Emortelle users enquired about the possibility of using the module as a service for generating their provisions.
MSD will be advising on this soon!
