Members can have an additional layer of security added to their account with Emortelle’s Pin Code feature.
When activated Emortelle will prompt for a pin code to be entered before the teller can access the member’s account and perform the desired transaction. When the member visits the teller for the first time, he or she is then required to enter the PIN password. The member is allowed three attempts to enter the correct pin if it none succeeds the system locks the account which requires a PIN reset after the authorization is confirmed.
The pin entry device a standard QWERTY keyboard connected to the Emortelle client PC can be used or alternatively an inexpensive USB or wireless number pad (like shown) can be purchased and connected to the teller PC and positioned for easy access by the member.
